The U.S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Group hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of its Asymmetric Warfare Training Center Jan. 24 at Fort A.P. Hill. Participants included State and local officials from Virginia, representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Training and Doctrine Command, and various others who attended to witness the historic event. The state-of-the-art facility provides a location for the AWG to replicate complex operational environments and develop solutions—which includes exploring adaptive tactics, techniques and procedures.

California’s Senate Bill 1 is what the founding fathers fought against. Straight from the U.N. Agenda 21’s playbook, SB1 will give power to a county to form a “Sustainable Communities Investment Authority” (SCIA). These Authorities have the power of eminent domain and can confiscate private property to build “sustainable communities.” The bill essentially paves the way for the loss of any true private property in California, resulting in the loss of freedom and driving down home values. If the Senate passes the modified bill, only Governor Jerry Brown (D – CA) will stand in its way of becoming law.

With all of this talk about ObamaCare and its rules going into effect now and at some point in 2014, there is one critical question that many people still seem to be missing. How is the government going to pay for all of this? After all, no one can deny that ObamaCare is a huge initiative that’s incredibly expensive. Heck, just putting together the online exchange cost millions of dollars of taxpayer money…and we are all familiar with just how well that worked out. The bad news is that there are more new taxes, mandates, and fees coming our way in 2014 and beyond.
