Montana moved one step closer to taking back the State’s power, after the Legislature’s House Judiciary Committee passed the so-called “sheriffs first” bill. The bill, which has many in the federal government already crying foul, declares the local sheriff to be the supreme law of the land. This is yet another example of the states fighting back against the unconstitutional and tyrannical advances of the federal government to take away more and more rights of the people.

TheHill.com is reporting that the US Senate has passed a bill opting the United States out of the proposed UN Arms Treaty. “We’re negotiating a treaty that cedes our authority to have trade agreements with our allies in terms of trading arms,” Sen. James Inhofe said. “This is probably the last time this year that you’ll be able to vote for your Second Amendment rights.”
